Frequently asked questions

Why do I need to search in Arabic?

The Dorar.net Hadith Encyclopedia searches the original Arabic text of each hadith. You can type an Arabic word or phrase, or tap one of the topics, which search Arabic keywords for you.

Where do the hadith and rulings come from?

Every hadith, reference and ruling is retrieved live from the Dorar.net Hadith Encyclopedia through its public API and shown exactly as published. Each ruling is the verdict of the scholar named with it.

What do the green and red labels mean?

When a ruling is one of the standard grading terms (for example صحيح, حسن, ضعيف, موضوع), the app shows it in your language: green for grades the scholars accept, red for weak and below. Any other wording is shown exactly as the scholar wrote it, without colour. The original Arabic ruling is always shown and always takes precedence.

Why is there no translation?

The source provides the original Arabic text only. Hadith Musnad never adds unofficial translations.

Does it work offline?

Searching needs an internet connection. Hadith you save are stored on your device and can be read offline.

Is it free?

Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no accounts.

البحث يكون بالعربية لأن الموسوعة تبحث في النص العربي الأصلي. جميع الأحاديث والأحكام تأتي مباشرةً من الموسوعة الحديثية في موقع الدرر السنية كما نُشرت. اللون الأخضر للدرجات المقبولة كالصحيح والحسن، والأحمر للضعيف فما دونه، والعبرة دائمًا بنص المحدِّث الأصلي.
